Common Mistakes and How to Fix Them

Last updated: December 1, 2025

This article will guide you on how to correctly pronounce letter sounds, helping you avoid common mistakes and ensuring you are set up for success in recording your demo.

Correcting letter sounds

Saying incorrect phonics sounds is a common mistake when recording the demo. Having crisp and clear phonics sounds is essential for teaching literacy and therefore a top priority for teachers.

Note: Confusing vowel sounds and adding an extra /uh/ to the end of a letter sound are the most common mistakes to avoid.
