How to Sign Up for Air Reading Live Sessions on Luma

Air Reading offers free live sessions to help teachers strengthen their skills, connect with peers, and explore best practices. Live sessions are hosted through Luma, an online events platform.

These live sessions are not paid sessions — they are optional learning opportunities to support your teaching.

Access the Luma page

Find the link in the Air Reading Weekly newsletter, Slack announcements, or Help Center live session articles. The link opens our official Air Reading Luma page with upcoming events.

Choose a live session

Click any live session title to view details, including:

  • Date & time
  • Topic and description
  • Facilitator’s name

Register on Luma

1. Click Register on the event page.
2. Add your name and email address.
3. Click Register to confirm.
4. You will receive a confirmation email with the event details and meeting link.

Attend the live session

On the day, open your Luma event or the confirmation email and click the meeting link a few minutes before start time.


FAQ

  Do I get paid for attending? 
No. Live sessions are free, optional professional development and are not compensated.
  Who can attend? 
All active Air Reading teachers are welcome.
  How do I know if a live session is right for me? 
Check the Luma description—each event lists the focus and level (intro/advanced). 
  • New teachers should prioritize Group Tech Orientation and Class Prep 101.
  • Returning teachers may benefit from 1:1 Tech Refreshers to stay up to date or troubleshoot.
  Do I need to prepare anything? 
No preparation required. Some sessions may share optional resources in advance.
  Can I attend more than one? 
Yes—join as many as you like.
  Will recordings be available? 
When possible, we share recordings afterward in the Help Center or via Slack.
